Seriously pinch us (ouch) just kidding guys! We cannot believe the time has come for Volume 2 of Guardians of the Galaxy (Cue in goosebumps). Ok so let's get to the low-down on volume 2.

It's usual business for the Guardians when they are hired by a powerful alien race, the Sovereign, to protect their precious batteries from invaders. Off-course leave it up to one of our favorite guardians "rocket" to shake things up and steal the items they were sent to protect himself! The Sovereign dispatch their bad-ass armada to search for vengeance against the guardians. As the Guardians try to escape things get further complicated when the mystery of Peter's parentage in the stars is finally revealed (hint: Hollywood Royalty).

We obviously HIGHLY recommend Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 as the must watch movie of 5 de Mayo!

Coming out of the blue is this very film which tackles one of todays most popular topics transgenderism. Featuring a powerful cast of some of todays most influential actresses 3 Generations tells the touching and powerful story of three generations of a family living under the same roof in NYC. Dealing with life-changing transformations some of which affect them all, Ray which is played by Elle Fanning is a teenager who has come to the realization that she isn't meant to be a girl and has decided to transition from female to male. For this to be able to happen Maggie played by Naomi Watts must track down Ray's biological father to get his legal consent to allow ray's transition. To further complicate things Dolly played by academy award winner Susan Sarandon (I know right), is Ray's lesbian grandmother who is having a hard time coping with the fact that she now has a grandson. As they each confront their own identities and slowly learn to embrace the change in their life they realize in order to ultimately find acceptance and understanding they will need to rely on each others strength.

Real life inspiration for Rocky Balboa, Chuck was the pride and joy of Bayonne, New Jersey, he was the guy who you know low-key went 15 rounds with Muhammad Ali himself!

This film however is not about all that, this film is about the real Chuck Wepner played by Liev Schriber. A liquor salesman and father with a not so bad prize fighting career who's life literally changed overnight when in 1975 he was randomly chosen to take on the greatest and crazy highly publicized title match. Experience the exhilarating highs and humbling lows of sudden fame through the eyes of chuck, then worse live what happens once the attention and 15 minutes of fame are gone. Naomi Watts also costars in this flick with Elisabeth Moss (Mad men, hand maidens tale). This Drama is a committed and heart felt performance from Liev Schreiber which really brings the human tale of resiliance and redemption to life.
